These are snapshots of the very last-minute gallery hanging I did at Bittersweet coffee shop in old-town Louisville, CO. Ironically, this is the exact past location of Recherche Photography studio where many of these images were hanging a few years ago before we finished renovating this house I decided to move my studio back home. I’ve stayed in touch with the owners and when an art show was taken down unexpectedly and their walls were painfully bear, I got a phone call. We pulled frames out from under our beds and off the walls of our house and I literally hung this within 4 hours of getting the request. I am happy to have all these beautiful images out breathing some fresh air. (Though I admit I’m missing the angels and many of the botanicals but I’ll have them back on my walls soon enough.) Stop by for a cup of coffee and enjoy the scenery until the end of February!

Looking for something fun to do on a Friday night? Our adorable little Louisville, CO has kicked off its First Friday Art Walk on June 1st from 6-9pm and I’ll be a featured artist. Come visit me (please!!). I always feel so incredibly awkward at events like this so I would love to see some familiar faces. I’ll have heaps of my fine art botanics for sale in Main Street Trading Company’s fun vintage store which is just underneath the new Imperial Fez restaurant. Historic Downtown Louisville will be hopping that night! This event is getting some great press. So many wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, little art galleries and boutiques. They’ve packed quite a lot of character into a few blocks! I am so excited about all the renovations and new shops opening up. (I’m also very happy to be working from home now so I’m not surrounded by all the commotion. ) So come on down for a glass of wine and a desperately appreciative hug from me!! Hope to see you!
