Baby Portraits of Graylin
![]()
It doesn’t get any cuter than this little slice of cherry pie. I LOVE her little sailor dress! Her mom was nervous about the shoot because Graylin has been so clingy lately so we were all delighted when she sat happily wherever we plopped her- at least for a bit. But that’s all I need- 10 seconds of a non-mobile happy baby in natural light and am I golden. Thank you, Angel & Todd, for taking the risk and bringing your sweet girl for a portrait session all the way in Louisville, CO. I loved meeting you both and it made me so happy to photograph her. And, thank you so much Julia for referring your friends to Recherché. You are a sweet friend and racking up studio credit over here!

A Children’s Spring Mini Portrait Session with the Sentes Girls in Louisville, CO
I am crazy in love with this family. I’m sure you recognize the girls from several past sessions- one of my favorite sessions of ALL time was theirs last summer. They popped in for another Spring Mini Session and let me play with a couple different backdrop vignettes, including my bed! The lilacs were in bloom which gave us a very sweet unlooked for prop- my favorite kind. I tried out the vintage curtains which were a little crazy-busy with their bright summer dresses, but when the image is de-saturated a notch I think I might like it. Not the super simple creamy situations I tend towards but I’m trying to play a bit this spring. Near the end of the session we let puppy India out to play and all three little girls were happily reunited for a time. The Sentes family had taken India home several weeks back to see if she would be a perfect fit for their family but it was all just too much. So India came back to me and here she stays. I think it all worked out perfectly.

A Mini Children’s Portrait Session with the Kelly Brothers from Boulder
I almost called Colleen the morning our Mini Session was scheduled to see if she cared to reschedule because it was so overcast and threatening rain. But it was an absolutely perfect morning for a quick photo shoot with boys. We just hung outside where it was nice and cool; the colors saturated with no shadows or squinting. We even got the pup out for a shot. We had a lovely time and everyone left feeling like the portrait session was just a quick pit stop- exactly what a Mini Session should be. Click here to schedule your own Mini Portrait Session and I’ll see you soon!
