This is such an edifying experience for me- presenting my wedding clients with their final heirloom album that has been crafted as a one-of-a-kind keepsake that will last their life long. It sums up all the anticipation, dreams, excitement, nervousness, planning, buying, booking and then the whole deliriously deliciously dreamy day-of. My clients invest so much trust and faith in me to show up to their treasured event and capture their hearts and dreams, their emotions and experiences, their details and guests. No pressure for me. (Well, maybe a little pressure.) So when they are finally holding the album of their dreams, I can finally experience a deep sigh of relief and pride. Queensberry Albums are always so sumptuous. Mary Beth & Jeffrey’s destination wedding at the St. Julien Hotel and Spa in Boulder, Colorado was so fun! I wish I had some other project to work on with that bride. I miss you, Mary Beth!!!

One of the most edifying moments of my wedding photography career is presenting my wedding clients with the Heirloom Finished Album. It is the culmination of every moment of dreaming, planning, spending, booking, choosing and experiencing their wedding. Each of these books is a treasure. Each encapsulates the love, beauty, values, family and friends surrounding the newly wedded couple. Every time I work on creating an Heirloom Album for my clients I imagine grandchildren gazing at each page with awe and admiration. I’m super excited to A) have just received Abby & Drew’s albums of Dyer’s Six Month Portrait Session which turned out just beautifully! and B) to have remembered to snap some photos of it and share it with you! I have a sad feeling that we create all these gorgeous images that never ever make it into something tangible. It’s all well and good to have images flashing across your computer monitor, but to have them showcased in a high quality album like this sets your images apart. They suddenly feel like ART.
