Reb and I have been friends for a good long time- about 9 years now! We started our businesses just around the corner from each other in Boulder and leaned heavily on each other through the growing pains of entrepreneurship. We have fallen in love (a couple times!), gotten married and started families (my babies are still dogs) and have shared many a glass of wine discussing how to adapt our businesses to our changing lives and the economic climate. Reb is the owner of Good Use and refinishes furniture and kitchens. (Her business is where most of my furniture came from!) She is SO talented, artistic and efficient! If you’re watching your pennies but need a fresh look for a favorite piece of furniture or your kitchen, definitely contact her! I have a gorgeous dresser from my grandparents that I wanted painted cream (of course) and she agreed to trade her refinishing services for my photographs of her new baby girl, Hannah. Perfect!!
This was such a fun morning for me! Reb needed to meet with a client at their home so I happily volunteered to combine the portrait session with my babysitting skills and brought Finnegan along to play with Camper during his very important puppy “socialization” phase. Hannah was sufficiently doted on, had four outfit changes, a nappy change and fabulous portraits created. Reb got a new client and Finnegan was WORN out. So it was a VERY productive morning for all involved!! Go team!
