Finally finally I got to photograph this little beauty who was born on my birthday: Quinn Colette Reeves. You’ve seen her parents’ destination wedding when they eloped to Belize and their maternity portraits. Krystal and I are cut from the same cloth and we enjoy six hour long lunch dates together at Lucky Pie. The day of Quinn’s first portrait session we had a huge garage sale going on in our yard for my sister so there were kiddos running in and out of the studio. My niece was very “helpful” in getting a smile from Quinn so I was shooting around her head several times. In the midst of chaos I long to find and freeze the serene. The magic nestled in between what feels like loud, messy, ordinary moments. Quinn is already so expressive and feisty. She is going to change the world and I cannot wait to see how.
